Why Mirenza
What Makes These Workshops Different
Reading-Led Format
Each programme is structured around prepared reading material — not lectures. Participants arrive having already encountered the ideas, and the session is devoted to reflection and discussion.
Small, Considered Cohorts
Groups are kept deliberately small — between six and twelve participants — so that every voice in the room has space, and discussion stays substantive rather than superficial.
No Advice, No Products
Mirenza offers educational reading programmes only. No financial products are discussed, no advice is offered, and no outcomes are suggested. This is a space purely for learning.
Tangible Reference Materials
Every programme includes a printed take-home component — a binder, a workbook, a playbook — so that what was read and discussed becomes a resource participants can return to at their own pace.
Designed for Adults 40+
The material, pace, and discussion style are calibrated for adults at a reflective stage of life — not the urgency of early career, but the steadier vantage of mid-life and beyond.
Based in Singapore
Workshops are held at our Cross Street premises in the CBD, with sessions timed to suit working and retired adults across Singapore's varied schedules.

Common Questions
Things Worth Clarifying
Who are these programmes intended for?
All three programmes are designed for adults aged 40 and above. The reading pace, discussion structure, and materials are chosen with this age group in mind — people who prefer considered engagement over rapid information delivery.
Do I need any prior financial knowledge?
No. The Personal Finance Vocabulary Reading Series in particular begins from everyday language — the kind of terms found on bank statements, insurance summaries, and household finance documents. No prior background is assumed in any programme.
Is any advice offered during the workshops?
No. Mirenza offers educational reading workshops only. Facilitators do not provide financial, investment, or product advice of any kind. The focus is entirely on building vocabulary, understanding documents, and developing clearer personal thinking around household finance.
How large are the cohorts?
The six-week reading series accommodates up to twelve participants. The weekend workshops run with between six and twelve people. The smaller weekend family meeting workshop keeps groups to six to ten. We do not exceed these numbers — the discussion quality depends on it.
Where are the sessions held?
Sessions are held at our premises at Cross Street Exchange, 18 Cross Street, #14-05, Singapore 048423 — a short walk from Chinatown MRT. The room is set up as a reading and discussion space, not a classroom.
What is included in the programme fee?
Each programme fee includes all printed materials — whether a clothbound reading binder, a workbook, agenda templates, or a meeting playbook — as well as access to the relevant follow-up circle where applicable. There are no hidden costs and no product upsells.
