Three Programmes, One Careful Approach

Each workshop and reading series is designed around a specific set of questions adults aged 40 and above tend to bring to household finance.

Our Methodology

How Every Mirenza Programme is Structured

All Mirenza programmes follow the same underlying structure: reading material is prepared and sent to participants in advance. The session itself is devoted to discussion, clarification, and peer reflection — not to delivering content that could have been read beforehand.

This format treats participants as capable readers who benefit from community discussion, not as audiences waiting to receive information. The distinction shapes everything: session length, facilitator role, and what ends up in the printed materials.

Every programme is purely educational. No financial advice is offered, no products are recommended, and no outcome promises are made. Facilitators redirect any question that moves into advisory territory and note that licensed financial professionals are the appropriate resource for such matters.

All programme fees include printed materials. There are no optional add-ons, no follow-up product outreach, and no upsell contact after a programme ends.

Programme One

Personal Finance Vocabulary Reading Series

A six-week reading series that introduces adults aged 40 and above to the vocabulary used across household personal finance documentation — the categories, standard terms, and document structures that appear regularly in bank statements, insurance summaries, and household finance paperwork.

The series is reading-led: a chapter is sent in advance of each weekly session, and the cohort meets in a group of twelve to discuss what they read. Educational in scope; no advice or product recommendations are offered at any point.

What is Included

  • Six weekly reading chapters sent in advance
  • Weekly discussion sessions of 90–120 minutes
  • Clothbound reading binder with annotated chapters
  • Six weekly glossary cards (one per chapter topic)
